To expand their line of sweet teas, Southern Breeze developed a new and exciting Mystery Flavor! The single most important idea of this project was communicating refreshing & exciting mystery. As well as having a visible design change to the consumer, but maintaining the same brand meaning.
Here is Mystery Flavor’s “packaging skeleton”, an exercise that visually shows the hierarchy of communication in a neutral way. This is one of the beginning stages to a package’s concept and design.
Mystery Flavor’s design was meant to have a visible design change to the consumer. Meaning, it must stand out amongst the other flavors. However, we still wanted customers to recognize the Southern Breeze branding in the design.
